I took the full 30 min mute and when I get back on the server, Cookie calls me a pussy and bans me.

Cookie has an issue with me and using mod privileges shouldn't empower people to call me retarded or names while knowing any retaliation or even criticism of their behavior can be met with a ban or mute.

Criticizing the lack of transparency when I ask for the reason I got muted or being frustrated with what seems to be targeting should not be shut down under the false veil of harassment if it is legitimate.

If anything, Cookie's behavior as an admin only inspires more negativity if they keep using it as a shield from criticism or as a way to be mean without any consequence (again, due to any sort of response being used as ammo for banning).

No other admin have issues with me, it only seems to be this one person and I don't see how I've done anything to warrant this targeting. Have I been a bit mean when criticizing the abuse of power? Sure, but the frustration never went so far as to constitute as harassment as I've always tried to be civil. Telling me to log a complaint when you don't feel like dealing with legitimate criticism is not a way to mod a server full of adults.

To clarify something, I don't have an issue with Cookie as a person, I am just frustrated with this situation and the way they handle it on their end, otherwise Cookie is fine.

Hi zodd, your attitude/actions in easy_surf do not reflect how you explained feeling in your appeal.

In efforts to try and instigate or be off putting towards me, you will use jokes towards other people with transphobic undertones. You also refuse to listen to my warnings in voice and text chat and have a general tendency to dig a deeper hole for yourself than initially explained.

In addition, you tend to dwell on your mutes for long periods of time (complaining the whole duration thru text) and verbally try to justify the your actions. You will also ask what exactly you did wrong and use ignorance as an excuse in order to validate your decisions prior. I don't have an issue with you as a player/surfer, but you refuse to take accountability until you are banned. This itsself is problematic and just makes every punishment you receive worse in the end.

During this instance, you were muted for an entire surf maps duration* (technically 30 minutes) and returned 30 minutes later to continue to complain about admin abuse and generally bring down the overall vibe of the server.

*Due to timed mute/gag punishments being partially broken, the mute would have only been 20 minutes long (until the map changed), which i was going to allow.
*If you stayed you wouldn't have been muted for the full punishment duration (this is why i called you a 'pussy' when you rejoined)


I will however reduce the ban from 24 to 8 hours as you have had no bans prior and deserve a chance to be heard out. If you genuinely don't have an issue, you won't have anymore problems with me.

Though In the future please refer to the chat if you are looking for a reason why you have been muted.
