There comes a time in a man's life where he must a decision. For too long I've watched as the surf server languish under the rule of stupid. I feel a deep-seated hatred in my heart; A hatred that can only be purged in the fire of retribution. I look upon the flock surfing those cool ass waves and have only one thought:

The ill mannered masses must be culled, perhaps even managed - I have an incredibly unique set of skills forged in the fire of bigotry, tempered in the pool of education, and honed by the steel of verbosity. I believe, deep in my soul, that if I were ordained as moderator of this great server; I could bring light hereto unforeseen by the denizens of IG. A new golden age could be upon us, if and only if I am granted the great burden of membership to the moderation team. This is not a task I take lightly, I understand on a deep level the seriousness of this great responsibility.
Perhaps I could call your attention to the definition of duty. Merriam Webster defines duty as "A duty is a moral or legal obligation, a specific task required by a job, or a government tax placed on imported goods. It represents an action or responsibility you are expected to fulfill." (Webster, 1) I think however, a more useful definition would be morality. Merriam Webster defines mortality as "a system of principles and values that guides individuals and societies in distinguishing between right and wrong. It acts as a code of conduct for acceptable behavior, shaping how we treat others and function cooperatively." (Webster, 2?) But more important, is the definition of honor. Marriam Webster defines honor as "Honor generally refers to high moral character, personal integrity, or the respect and recognition one receives from others. As a verb, it means to highly respect or to fulfill a commitment." (Webster, 3) Yet, we can not forget the definition of honor. Marriam Website defines honor as "Honor generally refers to high moral character, personal integrity, or the respect and recognition one receives from others. Marriam Webster defines service as "A service is an intangible act or use of resources provided to meet a customer's need. Speaking of service, I'd like to highlight my previous experience on other moderation teams. Back in the day, I was a super admin on numerous surf servers, had countless records, and was all around considered the most important member of the surf community. I won't lie to you, I have a checkered past. The rumors you no doubt have heard about me, my "fall from grace" so to speak, are true. I did become cripplingly addicted to propofol. I have weeks to months of blank spots in my memory spurned by that damn temptress. I can say, with no uncertainty, that I am fully recovered - I have not used propofol to enter that black hole of existence in years. I now feel like the only way I can give back is to enforce my narrow view of right and wrong on to the server.
What is the source of right and wrong? I'm somewhat of a moral relativist, I think. I'm not really sure as it kinda depends on the situation. What I can say for sure is - Di one ting mi sure bout, mi sick an' tired fi hear piipl a se slurs an' a fling racist garbage yah pon' mi surf serda. I really also hate when people speak at length about things they haven't the first clue about; Or when people use a thousands words to end up saying nothing at all. These are the type of abusers that I would surgically target, removing them like you would leukemia from a small child. As an aside, I'm not actually sure that you could remove leukemia via surgery, at least in the traditional sense. I'm not a doctor, but from my limited knowledge (admittedly TV gained) they tend to treat leukemia via a bone marrow transfusion from a healthy donor. Enough about that though, back to the main point:
It is with a humble heart and a head hung low that I come to you offering my services. I could be such a positive force for good, if only you would allow me. Perhaps the successful application from another user would help show my love and dedication for this server. Please see below.

I've gotten to know the community and rules pretty well since playing on here and I play enough to moderate the servers when they need admins. I'm not sure the words to use to express how hopeful I am for the future of the server. Maybe refer and reflect upon some of the previously outlined definitions? I can not do your thinking for you. What I can do is be the best damn moderator this server has ever seen.
