i know i'm unranked and i know i'm a bit of a troll, but i was admin on gfl (surf) for 2 years on cs:go and never had any infractions, did everything quite well. aside from that-i have also helped moderate pretty large (200k+) discord servers back in the day. i've surfed for ~10 yrs so i think i know the community pretty well and how to handle it + approach players in a way that keeps things fair while still maintaining a good environment.

the main reason i’m applying is because i’ve noticed that during the hours i'm most active (around 21:00–03:00 EST), admin presence tends to be limited or !calladmin response times can be slow. i’d like to help fill that gap and make sure the server stays well-managed during those times.

totally, but as i was admin on gfl for 2 yrs and only surfed on vip with styles. surfing isn’t a requirement. there are some pretty below average surfing admins on this server, completely no hate to anyone either.

Kami is a very active member of the community - while she does “rage bait” i believe it’s in good faith, as it’s usually only done to rude unranks who can’t have a conversation with a woman.

I think she would be a pretty fair and good admin!

I want to begin by stating that quite literally all of the above is correct.

That being said, kami is built with tougher skin than most. She'd make a good mod on that alone, she also engages the community with questions (that they generally tend to misunderstand and therefore chimp out to), which makes it seem like she's ragebaiting.

The truth is that her secret rage bait is complaining about the maps we're going to while never actually surfing.

Anyways +rep, we need someone at the times her degenerate ass is online anyways, and she has experience with likely one of the most toxic servers I've ever heard of.

I've seen Kami on during the late hours which would definitely be helpful for the admin team. They seem like a level headed person with a good mindset for dealing with the toxicity in the server that we see. Also given their previous admin experience is a plus. Overall, I think they should be given the chance to be admin and we can see how it goes.

Kami does have some solid prior experience with being an admin on GFL for two years, and she’s on a lot during late-night hours when there usually aren’t many admins around, which is definitely a good thing.

My main issue is that she doesn’t surf. (for the love of god kami beat a map) She mostly spectates, complains about whatever map is currently on, and tends to ragebait by lying about random stuff just to get a reaction. I also think it would help if she actually played through some maps and experienced the server like a normal player rather than only watching from spectator.

That said, she clearly has experience and is very active, so I do think she has potential. I’d just like to see her surf and tone down the trolling a bit.

-Rep, honestly we've had admins that have been bigger raigebaiters and chilled out once becoming admin so not super concerned about that. However the applicant not having a single map beat is an immediate disqualifier for me personally, we encourage having this as a social environment and we pride ourselves in maintaining it, but at its core this is a skill surf server, admins don't just monitor chats and VC, they also help new players beat maps and learn the ropes. Due to the lack of any form of map beat I must put a -Rep for this application. If you beat a map please reply to this comment and I will reevaluate my position.

not to start any argument on forums, but you were actively going against what admins asked of you last night, and getting your partner <Dude52637> i've never interacted with to reply to my post is kind of nuts. and in case you bring it up, yes i did get muted for one minute for mic spam the same night as you as an attempt to stop the convo you were having (which is the reason you and several others got muted..) you were also a really active gfl member and saw i did not do any of these things once i got admin...

Not sure why you are bringing the other night up, as my getting muted has nothing to do with your personality and tendencies. Besides getting muted for mic spamming that night, you have also been muted for racism, which directly conflicts with the standards an admin should be held to. Also, you may not remember, since you negatively interact with so many people, but you actually have interacted with dude52637. You harassed him a few months ago and defamed him due to your opinion on his relationship with me. His post is based on his own interaction with you, when I was not on the server, so maybe consider that other people have had negative interactions with you and would like to share them.
