Why were you banned?
"grow up" is the ban reason, but in reality ill lay out the events;
I used to be an admin for this community on IG HNS, I proudly upheld our community standards and was probably the most strict on enforcing toxicity. Early on in my time as an admin we removed several members from the community and upper management team due to toxicity (we'll sum it up to that), and I, along with Nokia, lead a mentorship program for some of the community member(s) affected by the previously mentioned management members. This is just a little backstory to explain why I take toxicity on IG as seriously as I used to. You can also follow through with my forum posts in the past to paint a picture in this regard..
Awhile back we absorbed GFL and some of their staff, however this lead to some tension due to some situations that arose with new upper management. The particular instance that lead to my ban happened on 11/15/2024. Lax, or Narato, had come to our community and was ragebaiting and causing issues. Ingame specifically he was saying slurs over his mic(n word),telling people they were stupid n-words and how he was going to catch them, and once I warned him for it he turned to rage-baiting and playing a song (https://genius.com/Genius-romanizations-wowkie-da-sunshine-rainbow-white-pony-romanized-lyrics link provided by spooky) on loop via sprayon the part specifically where it sounds like a slur, very intentionally. After being kicked for not removing his spray that was doing this, Dave (new management from GFL) told Lax that any punishments would be overturned. Because of this, I reached out to spooky with the situation and explained to him what was going on. TLDR the spray with the song was allowed because its a "well known troll song", whereas I was in the right to warn Lax for using slurs over his mic. Despite this conversation, Dave still removed Lax's warn, to which I told spooky "nah dude the trolls and minges have won i no longer give a fuck". I should clarify all of these conversations were on private messaging and not through any IG related resource. Not ingame, not on the forums, not on the discord. Im not releasing them to be toxic, but rather because they are relevant to the ban reason.
Spooky messaged me a few times trying to get an outright answer if I was stepping down for a few days and I never responded because I had no intention to step down, but I also had no intention of having to deal with the community we had become.
A few months later, on 1/21/2025 spooky reached out again looking to clear inactive staff (several of us all decided to leave together due to how we had been treated with the recent merge and atmosphere change)
Again, the following chats happen in private and not through any IG resource
I responded on 1/22/2025 "have u done anything to hold dave accountable? no? you can still go fuck yourself spooky"
this is where spooky decides to demote me from admin, to which i respond "get raged baited stupid r*****"
at this point spooky calls out how unprofessional my behavior is and how I was using slurs in a derogatory manner, to which I responded "we dont care about that on ig n*****, thats why I havent been around. That kind of shit is allowed, I aint for it" to which spooky then responded "alright now you can enjoy your ban from IG if you want to speak to me like that" and I have since been banned from the server minus the last week or so, banned from the discord, and IP banned from the forums until today.

Why should we unban you?
I have never once condoned my behavior in this (previously) private conversation. It was done angrily at the expense of making a very sharp point. This was the type of behavior we were allowing and removing warns for when people behaved this way in-game on our server, and I bluntly eluded to this when I told spooky "we dont care about that on ig, thats why i havent been around. that kind of shit is allowed, i aint for it". Once again, I do not condone the usage of this language. It was done in private and was used to make a point. Spooky I'm sorry for the way I treated you in this conversation, it was nothing personal and was purely to make a point because playing on the server during this timeframe was unenjoyable because behaviors like this were encouraged by Dave.
I believe I should be unbanned because other than this private conversation with spooky that resulted in my ban, I have never once resulted in an issue for IG or its community, nor do I intend to for any future endeavors. I once again take full responsibility for my behavior and am not dodging any of that toxicity, but this issue happened behind closed doors, and I have never once acted out or broken any of the rules while engaging in IG forums/discord or while playing on IG servers. This is the first and only incident, and it resulting in a permanent ban seems intense. As it stands now aside from the last ~2 weeks of being able to play my ban has lasted a concurrent 14 months
I've met plenty of new friends within the past week or two that I've been (accidentally?) unbanned and while I haven't been able to play I have still been monitoring the servers activity level; It has been cool to see us achieving 10+ players consistently lately and a lot of old friends have come back to say hello
Incase I do not get unbanned, It was a pleasure to meet all of you new friends and I'm sorry for knowing so many of your spots
