Why were you banned?
I made a quick joke ( which has been made Mutiple times in same server over different days of playing) someone mentioned a kid i made a small pedo joke , the SAME joke I've heard other longer term players of the server make in the past in different days/games and situations but they said more severely , I did the same thing yet more tame and chill and nmot as prolonged, 10 -15 min passed, and then i got kicked and banned for no reason or warning. I had to check the website and the message from killerbee a regular on the server saying what the ban reason for , the following ban reason is this and not true, no i was NOT harassing and accusing people of being a pedo or fucking kids i made a joke about a guy mentioning kids , joke about Epstein like ive hearf PLENTY of people low or high level do so in similair situations in past days on the same server. I am new and getting back into surf i know not to attack or accuse people of shit its also common sense, I made a few obvious jokes againts a guy who we both were argueing with each other, not nearly as bad as other pedo jokes that i have heard on this same server nor not nearly as bad as the shit the guy was saying to me which was def bannable but nothing happened to him ,before and no ban or warning anything happened to them, i made a joke 10 % of what they said and i got banned with no warning.................. no warning and no ban or warning for the other people being toxic at all, just me making a quick joke and got banned , id say ill be better about not getting banned in the future but i genuinly am already good about that , and got banned for something that is not nearly as bad as what people say in that surf lobby at times and not even joke but mean it with accusations and racism and bigotry and sexism and dont get banned, but i made a quick obvious joke and got banned no warning.......? I will not make any pedo jokes even tho plenty of people in the server do I will refrain from it , but my context is said.

I am new and getting back into surf after years of a break just want to talk and vibe surf with a server I actually like, along with the fact that I was wrongfully banned , made friends already even tho I am new and love the server, I was NOT "harassment, accusing people of being pedos and fking children" I made a joke towards someone mentioning kids, same type of joke plenty of other people in the server made to others since i started playing recently last few weeks, like someone mentioning a kid but instead of my joke i made people go way WORSE and go to far and be weird yet they didnt get banned or a warning, i made a joke not nearly as bad, and stopped after like few min , 10 15 min later ban no warning or reason had to go on website to see ban reason and have killerbee explain why i got banned. i am banned for 5 days not perma banned but this is the 2nd time now i have been admin abused or lazy admining idk what for bullshit."Help" admin being the 2nd time this now request , and Verte who admin abused me by muting me for having a argument with him and lying about what i said and did even though most in the server were listening and fighting it to get me unmuted saying like example" why did you mute him wtf why"etc. POINT being, some admins are on some wack shit , i wish i had recordings for both but after 2 admin bs calls towards me this week i WILL start recording every surf lobby i play , because i WISH I had the recordings for the wrongful admin abuse by verte and clear lying and the clear wrongful ban from help today by overembellishing what I said and did even though I am following the rules especially since this is the one surf lobby server I really like, I have to mention it to whoever reads this . I have a cavemen pc that surf is one of the few things that run well for it , I love talking and bsing on surf, and THIS SERVER,why would i be randomly harassing people about " harassment, accusing people of being pedos and fking children", I made a quick joke that got misheard and got overembellished , falcon, killerbee others can vouche im new and can be dumb like most people are on surf lol but im not gonna go off the deep end and say some bannable shit. thats about it. First I'll speak on my experiences with this player. They're argumentative, which is fine. However this is the 2nd time in only a few days where a line has been crossed. Then following up with how the admin was wrong or lying or was "bs" when action was taken against them. It seems that when they've had action taken against them, they rush to their defense by saying "That's not what happened" or making comparisons to the other activities they've observed other people engage in on the server and try to place blame on admins not taking action against others who have "done worse" or "said worse".

In regards the rule break directly. Honestly, anything to do with the subject, or even joking about it is grounds for being muted, or banned. Surf has a negative history on the subject that goes back nearly a decade. We obviously, and simply don't want that kind of talk in the servers. Joking or not, it's a subject to not comment on.

When looking at the comparisons to other players, and using that as a reason why you shouldn't be banned. I think its best to just advise you that if an admin isn't around, use the !calladmin command to try and get an admin in the server. I also recommend recording, and reporting the person yourself, we have a section on the forums for these specific situations.

Again, from my time with the player, they've just been argumentative, could even label them a rage baiter. Sometimes turning into insulting the other player(s). It's not my decision to shorten or lift the ban, but I'm leaning more in that direction.

i mean it did start as light jokes between both people, idk if i missed something said but out of nowhere lord kitchener accused kola of fucking children i told him not to say that but he kept saying it so i banned him, when i was in the process of banning him i heard him say it multiple more times, idk how that is a light pedo joke.

In future try not to steer towards that topic especially possibly accusing other players of such a thing.

I've had issues with you in the past for similar things that has been mentioned above so i don't feel you should be unbanned immediately and if found to continue the same behaviour the next ban will be a month.

Lastly, if you have any issues with the staff team there is a Admin Report Section on the forums so we can look into potential admin abuse. Keep in mind up until recently the Server was incredibly understaffed with a lot of inactive admins and only recently we have been able to catch things more frequently so some things have slipped under the radar more recent than we would have liked but should be getting things back on track.

Also you'll find a list of rules stating not to argue with admins so really being muted for arguing back with admins isn't an issue im worried with.

Use this time to reflect on your behaviour on our servers and hopefully we wont find ourselves here again!

Noted, however I will resay, I was joking along other people, and I have heard same type of jokes in Mutiple other sessions if not worse and admin didn't do anything, so that why I assumed making the jokes I got banned over was ok, but now I know. I won't joke about it anymore, and I would never actually attack someone/accuse them of being a pedo when we are just arguing, and I especially would not actually attack accuse someone of that in my favorite surf server. I thought it was clearly a joke like some people in the lobby at the time thought too ,but I won't joke about it no more, misunderstanding, my bad.
