Starting off with the huge positives in January Insanity Gaming paid for itself for the first time by the support of our generous Donators and since the start of the year we have hit Donation Goals each month! Since January we have released countless new CS2 Servers main ones being Beginner Surf and 1v1 as well as 1 x2 Rust Server and Minecraft Server! We released a Surf Leader-board which is still currently in progress but regardless its still there! finally to wrap up this section this year we have been the largest CS2 Surf Community in terms of sheer numbers and average players which is a huge achievement and we are forever grateful to be able to host surf to such a large amount of players each month.
With the huge success of our CS2 Surf Servers we have encountered a large amount of "bad actors" and have frequently been subjected to DDoS attacks of our servers which has caused mass amounts of down-time this year. We realised these will not let-up so after the last wave of attacks we switched to a new host with a Layer 7 DDoS protection capable of mitigating these attacks ensuring a reliable, smooth experience even if someone gets banned, throws a tantrum and tries to take us offline. With that though we did have to lose our old IP which was the last thing we wanted but shit happens and thankfully you all stuck with us during this switch to the New IP of our CS2 Servers
Due to setbacks we have faced we may not have certain features of our server or community as polished as we would have liked by this time & may lack in some area's compared to other places, but we are still working hard to bring you the best experience across all of our servers and bringing ourselves up-to date with features. @Retro & @lethal are constantly at work with developing & fixing up our Surf Servers as our Main (and only) Dev's for CS2, Insanity Gaming Surf would not be what it is without them.
For the future of Insanity Gaming currently our plan is to keep working on Surf and develop a more stable and consistent experience as Valve tends to break things every update so its a constant up-hill battle with our CS2 Servers. We would like to eventually expand further in-to GMOD with a Dark-RP and TTT Server but lack the current man-power for those feats so those ideas are currently on the back-burner.
In saying that our wonderful CS2 and GMOD Staff Team have been doing an incredible job this year at keeping out assholes and annoyances from the servers. We would have fallen apart if it wasn't for them so I myself and the Directors are forever grateful for the time and effort you all put into this community.
